I'm pleased to introduce the little girl I want to adopt. She does already have a family, buuut I really want to bring her home with me. We went back to the same village today, and she was waiting for us at the end of their bridge in her best dress. When she saw me coming she started yelling "Didi!! Didi!!" and running towards me. I am in love.

There are things about being here that just aren't comparable to anything that happens at home. I am seeing true, true joy and happiness stemming from the smallest gestures. I didn't know that I could love people so much. I can already tell that it's gonna be really hard to leave.
